FURROWS OSWESTRY PROUD TO SPONSOR UP AND COMING LOCAL CYCLIST
Furrows Oswestry are proud to sponsor up and coming cycling star, George Evans of Ebistock, Wrexham. George purchased a used Skoda Fabia from the Oswestry dealership last year, and Furrows will be contributing to the running costs of services and MOT's.
George has already had a fantastic 2017 season and is hoping that it continues.

Main achievements of 2017
- George became the Welsh Elite time trial champion
- He placed 5th in the 19-34 age group in the amateur world time trial championship in France
- He achieved his 1st category road racing licence, winning several races
- He placed top 10 in the national 10 mile senior championship
- He gained his 25 miles PB in 47:34 (31.5 mph average)
- He placed 13th in the British cycling under 23 time trial championship

- GHS (under 16) British 10 mile time trial champion
- 2 time Welsh Junior 10 mile time trial champion
Goals for the future
- George is thinking about the possibility of looking at Common Wealth Games selection for Wales in the future.
- He would like to turn professional in the next couple of years
- He would like a result in the British Under 23 time trial championship
- To win the British Under 23 time trial championship would be the ultimate goal
