A Shropshire man has returned to where his sales career in the motor industry began 25 years ago.
Simon Charles has been in the motor trade for over 30 years, but only began to specialise in vehicle sales when he joined Furrows in 1994.
And now, he has returned to his roots by joining the Furrows Ford sales team at their dealership in Harlescott Lane in Shrewsbury.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be back at Furrows. The company has grown and evolved so much since I was last here, but there are still so many familiar faces about which is a testament to the Group’s commitment to its staff and the loyalty it creates,” said Simon.
“It’s a very exciting time to be part of the Furrows family once again and I’m looking forward to catching up with both new and existing customers in the area.”
Simon initially began his career with Furrows at the Group’s Telford dealership, working in the business centre.
He has since worked with three other vehicle brands across Shropshire before deciding the time was right to return to Furrows.
Furrows of Shrewsbury’s dealership principal, Antony Frost, said: “It’s great to have Simon back with us and he’s fitted in with our ever-growing team as though he’s never been away. “His experience and enthusiasm are already proving invaluable, and we’re very pleased to welcome him back to the Furrows family.”
