George Evans took part in the Welsh Elite Time Trial at the weekend in the hopes of retaining his title as champion, and he did just that! George finished with a time of 34:27.21, closely followed by Gruffudd Lewis from Ribble Pro Cycling who came in 2nd place with a time of 34:50.53 and Alex Jones who finished in 3rd place with a time of 35:46.84.
Speaking after the race George said 'I really wanted to do a good ride here to prove a bit of a point, which I think I did. I produced I’d say my best performance of the year and managed to win by a bit of a margin. Gruffudd Lewis from Ribble pro cycling was the closest. I thought he would produce a good ride which pushed me hard all the way to the line. Really happy with this result and for Lee Morgan who won the masters title. Thanks for all the support'
