Furrows of Oswestry are pleased to be one of the official partners of the 2018 Midnight Ride, supported this year by Tweek’s Cycles.
The Midnight Ride, founded by Alan Lewis in 2015, is an 85 mile cycle ride around Oswestry. The ride attracts riders of all abilities, from first timers of all ages through to competitive cyclists who have competed in many cycling events around the world. Midnight Ride staff have competed in the World Triathlon Championships, the Olympic Games and The World Cup Track Cycling Championship to name just a few.
The ride starts and finishes at the Memorial Hall in Oswestry, meandering through the quiet country roads of Shropshire and Powys overnight, with a stop at Lake Vyrnwy for much needed refreshments.
Furrows are delighted to be supplying two Skoda support cars and two Ford support cars which will be especially stickered up for the event and used as pace and medic cars.
The Midnight Ride has raised thousand of pounds for charity and this year is no different. This year’s chosen charity is Severn Hospice. Severn Hospice provide specialist care and support free of charge to families across Shropshire and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness.
This year’s Midnight Ride takes place on Saturday 23rd June. If you would like more information, or would like to sign up for the event, please click here: http://www.midnightride.co.uk
