MET Technician – Shrewsbury

Position:
MET Technician required for Automotive Vehicle Accident Repair Centre with an eye for detail and passion for quality to join our team.
Typical duties of a MET Technician include:
- Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with BS10125 & Manufacturers
- Dismantling vehicles to allow for repairs and rebuilding after paintwork
- Mechanical, Electrical, Trim and body work on allocated Jobs
- Panel replacement and Re-alignment to manufacturer gapping and specification
- Vehicle diagnostics, fault clearing and fault finding
- Removing, refitting radiators and air conditioning repair and Re-gas
- Suspension components replacement, repairs and wheel alignment
- ADAS calibration (training will be provided)
- Tyre fitting
- Road testing vehicle after repairs
- To identify additional repair work and liaise with the VDA
About you:
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Minimum 5 years’ experience or fully qualified MET Technician or to NVQ Level 3
- ATA qualification would be beneficial

Hours of work:Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, 40 hours per week
