New Car and Electric Vehicle Advisor - Shrewsbury

We are looking for a driven and personable individual to join our team as New Car and Electric Vehicle Advisor at our state of the art Shrewsbury Ford and Kia showroom. If you have a passion for new technology including Electric vehicles and are committed to providing excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• To talk with confidence to customers about vehicles including the new technologies such as Electric VehiclesGreeting customers, discussing their needs and advising them on the most suitable vehicle
• Undertaking enthusiastic presentation of the vehicle and carry out vehicle demonstration drives
• Handing over New Vehicles, explaining each benefit to the customer to maintain the highest satisfaction
• To create and maintain a positive, customer friendly sales environment whilst taking responsibility for day to day maintenance of the showroom
• To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction as reported in monthly customer satisfaction analysis
• Working with the Sales Manager in order to facilitate the sale of a new vehicle
• Working out finance arrangements and packages (full training to be given)
• Processing orders and completing relevant paperwork
• Make outbound telephone calls with the view of gaining new business and keeping customers abreast with the new latest technologies
• Communicating with customer’s using traditional methods as well as modern technologies such as digital videos

Essential skills:

• A current and valid UK driving licence
• A professional smart appearance and attitude
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Time management skills and willingness to take the initiative
• A willingness to learn and embrace change

What we will do for you

In turn you will undergo an exciting training programme that means you will up to speed with the latest developments in the automotive world and will be able to demonstrate them passionately and professionally to our customers, you will also gain finance accreditation through SAF which is an industry recognised qualification.

• Base salary of £25,000 per annum plus commission

Hours of work: Monday to Saturday, 42 hours p/w.
