The Kia Rio still has plenty of appealing features, including a high-quality cabin, seven-year warranty and a comfortable ride. Kia is planning to release a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol soon, which will bring it more in line with the Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost.
The Kia Rio has come on in leaps and bounds since the no-frills first generation car was launched. The current fourth generation model isn’t a huge step on from the Mk3. It has an evolutionary design inside and out, good ride and refinement, and some hard, interior plastics.
