Richard joined Furrows Group direct from school 14 years ago and has since risen through the ranks to become a Ford Commercial Master Technician. This demanded months of hard work and study, both in Telford and at the Ford training centre in Daventry.

Richard's advice for keeping a vehicle on the road is very similar to that of his colleagues. He says regular checks and servicing are by far the best way to keep a vehicle running reliably in the long term.

Outside interest:

Interestingly, Richard is a keen air rifle shooter and is a member of the Plough team, from Longville. His team takes part in the Mid Wales Shooting League, and Richard recently achieved a near-perfect score of 35.6 points out of a maximum 35.7.
