Simon Zacharek started as a YTS trainee at Furrows, straight from school, in 1987 and has been here ever since. He has been a Ford Master Technician for over eight years.
Like many of his colleagues, Lee Richards has been at Furrows for most of his career and he now boasts ten years experience in the trade. Lee's time at Furrows has enabled him to study for a range of qualifications.
Richard Alderson joined Furrows Group direct from school 14 years ago and has since risen through the ranks to become a Ford Commercial Master Technician.
Jason Smith is currently following a similar career path to many of his fellow technicians and joined Furrows straight from college in Telford. He has gained his NVQ Level Three in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
Mark Maddox started at Furrows as a Ford Apprentice seven years ago and has since studied for and passed his NVQ Level Three in Vehicle Mantenance.
David Anderson is one of our most experienced technicians, having been in the motor trade for 20 years. He has worked on KIAs for twelve years and is currently studying to become a KIA Master Technician.
Callum Goodman has been a Ford Master Technician at Furrows for over ten years, having studied for his workshop qualifications in Nottingham and, interestingly, Amsterdam. He is also one of our many MOT testers.
Will has been at Furrows for four years and has studied hard for a range of tough qualifications. These include technical exams with both Ford and KIA, as well as his IMI (Level Three) certificate.
Richard has been an ever-present at Furrows for 22 years - he joined the company straight from college. He has since gained a range of high-level qualifications from all manfacturers and is now studying for a Masters degree in Automotive Management.
Mark has been with Furrows for eight years, and in total, has been in the motor trade for twelve years. During that time, he has built up a vast bank of experience in making sure each and every vehicle leaves Furrows in pristine condition.
Louis has been with Furrows for seven years - he joined the company straight from school. He has ambitions to progress through the ranks at Furrows and over the next few years, may even be looking to study for his Senior Technician qualifications.
Graham is one of our most experienced tecnicians - he has been in the motor trade since 1970. He joined Furrows in 2005 and has now progressed to the ranks of Senior Technician, with expertise in KIA.
David is one of our newest rescruits - he only joined the Furrows team a few weeks ago. He is a first year apprentice, and in conjunction with Shrewsbury College, is studying for his Level two qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
Darren is another long-term member of the Furrows workshop team, and joined straight from school nine year ago. In addition to his qualifications with Mazda, he is also a Ford Senior Technician.
Andrew has been with Furrows for just over two years and has proven to be a valuable addition to the team. He has is currently looking forward to starting his third year in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
Alwyn is another of our highly-experienced technicians, with 30 years of work at Furrows under his belt. He joined the company as a YTS apprentice and as well as his studies with Ford, Alwyn is both ATA and City & Guilds qualified.
Leigh is another of our staff to have been with Furrows since leaving school. Over the last 11 years, he has amassed a range of tough qualifications, taking him to 'Senior Technician' status with both Ford and Skoda.
Tony has been with Furrows for twelve years, before which he studied on a mechanics course at college. He is now ATA qualified and is currently training to be a Skoda Master Technician.
Carl has been with Furrows for ten years, having joined the firm in the third year of his apprenticeship. In addition to his current qualifications as a technician, Carl is training to become a Master Technician.
Lee has been in the motor trade since the age of 16, and joined Furrows in 2002. He boasts a range of qualifications, including City & Guilds and Transit Technician Status.
Richard has been an integral part of the Furrows team for 15 years, before which he worked in other parts of the motor trade for over 20 years.
Julia is another long-term member of the Furrows line-up, having joined the firm 28 years ago. She has worked in a number of areas across the business, and joined the service department in 1997
Dave has been with Furrows for seven years and in that time, has studied for a wide range of tough exams. He is a NVQ Level Three accredited painter, and has qualifications from Avdatex and ATA.
Shirley has been with Furrows for 22 years - she initially joined for just six months as maternity cover! In that time, she has been a mainstay of the accident repair and warranty departments.
Kevin is another of our experienced staff in the workshop, and has 25 years of service with Furrows under his belt. He has spent all his working life in the motor trade and was self employed before joining the firm.
Will has been a member of the Furrows line-up since joining the firm straight from school in 2006. In that time, he has combined full-time work and study to achieve the creditable level of ATA-approved paint sprayer.
Olly has been a member of the Furrows team since leaving school ten years ago. He started at the firm as a YT trainee and has since risen through the ranks with a host of City & Guilds qualifications, as well as ATA certification.
Mike is another long-term member of the Furrows team, after joining the firm straight from school in 1987. In that time, he has built up a vast bank of knowledge in bodywork repair and welding.
Emily has been a member of the Furrows team for just over four years. She joined the firm straight from School and has worked in many areas of the business. This has given her the chance the build a useful bank of experience in customer service.
