It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a highly-respected member of the Furrows family – John Bennett.
John’s career with us began in 1951 and spanned almost 50 years. At the time of his retirement in January 1999, he was Managing Director of the Group.
John was a well-respected business man, with close ties throughout Shropshire. He was also heavily involved in the local cricket community including President of Wroxeter Cricket Club, Chairman of Montgomeryshire and Chairman of the Shropshire Cricket Board. A sound, trusted friend and a true gentleman.
A treasured colleague and friend to all at Furrows – John will be very sadly missed.

Lenders typically pay a fixed commission to us for the introduction, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow but this does not affect the interest charged on the finance agreement, which is set by the lender. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status.
