    TRANSIT CONVERSIONS The Ford Transit Chassis Cab is renowned for its versatility and flexibility. Available in five optional Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) variants, it is the ideal platform for a wide range of bespoke conversions. The new 5-Tonne model increases maximum payload capacity to 2,960 kg, ideal for heavy conversions and making short work of any job.
    TOWING ABILITY Transit Chassis Cab delivers outstanding payload and towing capability. The 350HD and 470 versions, with high-rated suspension and 7,000 kg Gross Train Mass, can pull up to 3.5 tonnes of braked trailer load, when properly equipped.
    BUILT FOR HARD WORK Whichever derivative you choose, the Chassis Cab is designed to get the job done. With a maximum payload of 2,755 kg in the rear-wheel drive version, you’ll be able to convert the vehicle for your specific business needs.
    OUTSTANDING FLEXIBILITY The Chassis Cab is available as a medium (L2), long (L3), long with extended frame (L4), or extra long (L5) wheelbase. Each is built with a robust ladder frame to create the perfect base for your conversions. You can also choose from either a single or dual rear wheel for even more versatility.

      POWER SOCKETS As well as two 12V power sockets, you can specify an optional 150 Watt/230V socket located between the driver’s and passengers’ seats: ideal for charging tools, laptops or other equipment without the need for special adaptors.
      IN THE DRIVERS SEAT The driving seat is fully adjustable, along with the steering wheel (both for rake and reach), so you can find your ideal driving position. There’s a built-in armrest too, while adjustable lumbar support, heated seats and a power adjustable driver’s seat are options. In fact, while providing commercial vehicle standards of durability, the seats are designed to be as comfortable as those you’d find in a car.
      ROOM FOR THE CREW Transit Chassis Double Cab is a great solution for moving both crew and load at the same time. Wide-opening doors provide easy access to the spacious, well thought-out interior. While the dual front passenger seat and standard rear quad seat together offer comfortable accommodation for up to seven occupants, including plenty of under seat stowage possibilities.

        SELECTABLE DRIVE MODES With Selectable Drive Modes, you can tailor how your Transit Chassis Cab handles to suit a particular job or terrain. Choose from Normal mode, Slippery mode, Mud/Rut mode, Tow/Hail mode, and for maximum fuel efficiency, the new EcoMode.
        TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM If any of your Transit Chassis Cab's tyres starts to lose pressure during your journey, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System warns you immediately if there's a puncture by lighting up an icon on the instrument panel.
        LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM The Lane Keeping System uses a forward-looking camera to detect if you're unintentionally drifting out of lane. Lane Keeping Aid provides gentle steering torque assistance to help guide you back into your lane. If your wheel touches the line or edge of the road, Lane Keeping Alert vibrates the steering wheel.
